Picking an item leaves your pills alone
- Your arm, back, welt, base, leg pills stay exactly where you put them when you pick an item, even an ottoman or armless piece. Nothing swaps around as you add multiple items.
- The Assembled style bar above shows the SKU the order will use, with the auto-fills already applied so you can sanity-check.
- Picking a regular item (sofa, chair, sectional anchor) does still clear a lingering 0 step from a previous ottoman / swivel edit, so the dealer picks a real arm, back, base, or leg for the new piece.
Power motion pieces take attached backs only
- On F9, Loose Knife Edge (2) and Loose Boxed Back (4) are not built on power motion pieces — the printed order form flags both.
- Pick a power item (any P number, e.g. 15P, 30P, 50P, 55P) and the back moves to the matching attached version: 2 becomes 1 (Semi-Attached Knife Edge), 4 becomes 3 (Semi-Attached Boxed Back). Same silhouette, buildable back.
- While a power item is selected, the two loose backs are greyed out and can't be picked. Switch to a non-power item and they come back.
Nail finishes need a nail arm or nail base
- On C9 / LC9 / PD, nailhead trim only comes from an option marked “w/ Nails”: Arm 6 or Arm 8, or Base 4, Base 5, or Base 9. Every other arm and base ships with no nails.
- With no nail arm and no nail base on the piece, the nail finish picker is replaced by a note instead of letting you pick a color that never gets built.
- Nails also need somewhere to sit: a nail arm on an armless middle (pie wedge, armless chair, bumper chaise, entertainment console) adds nothing, and the corner wedge takes no nails on any base. Picking one of those clears the nail finish.
- Move back onto a nail arm or nail base and the picker returns.
Adding to order auto-fills the 0 steps
- Ottomans add to the cart with Arm 0 and Back 0 regardless of what the pills above show. The Assembled style bar previews this before you press Add.
- Armless sectional middles (armless chair, armless loveseat, armless sleeper, pie wedge, corner wedge, bumper chaise, entertainment console) add with Arm 0.
- Swivel chairs add with Leg 0 on M9 / LM9 or Base 0 on C9 / LC9. If you explicitly picked Base 9 (Swivel Base with Nails), that choice is respected.
- After Add to order, your arm, back, welt, base, leg, wood finish, nail finish, body covering, contrast welts, pillow fabrics, and BD / LD / Tall Leg toggles all stay set. Only the item clears so the next piece in a coordinated chair + loveseat + sofa + ottoman run starts ready.
Sectional check
- If your cart has two or more LAF pieces, or two or more RAF pieces, a notice appears in your order. You can still order it, but most sectionals only have one of each side.
- If your cart has an LAF piece but no RAF (or vice versa), the same notice flags that a sectional usually needs both anchor pieces.
- The notice never blocks the PDF. It's just a sanity check.
Pillows & contrast welts
- Pillow fabric pickers only appear after you pick an item that has pillows. The label shows the count (e.g. A pillow fabric (2×)).
- Body contrast welt is the welt around the body of the piece; Pillow contrast welt is the welt around every pillow. They're separate.
- Leather programs (L9 / LC9 / LM9) never expose pillow fabric pickers because pillows are always fabric.
- LuxDown toss pillows (LD) is only available when the selected item has pillows. Switching to a pillow-less item (ottoman, armless chair, entertainment console, etc.) clears the LD toggle automatically.
